Built on Honest Work
and Local Expertise
River Valley Contracting is a full-service exterior contractor with skilled tradespeople across roofing, masonry and paving. Edmonton is our home and we build accordingly.
Our Story
Rooted in the River Valley
River Valley Contracting was built by Edmonton tradespeople who believed the city deserved a contractor that stood behind its work unconditionally. The concept was simple: no deposit up front, quality materials chosen for Alberta's climate and payment only when the customer is genuinely satisfied.
We have grown through referrals from happy customers. We added a dedicated masonry crew as more clients asked for brickwork alongside roofing jobs, and paving followed soon after, rounding out a complete exterior offering for the things most homeowners and commercial clients need across a property's lifetime.
Across Edmonton and the surrounding communities, our core values have not changed: every estimate is written, every material choice is explained and every job is backed by our satisfaction guarantee.

How We Operate
Our Core Values
No Deposit Required
We do not ask for a cent until the work is complete and you are fully satisfied. If the result is not right, we fix it before we invoice.
Written Estimates Always
Every quote we provide is written, itemised and explained in plain language. The price you are given is the price you pay.
Same-Day Response
We respond to every enquiry the same business day. For storm damage and urgent repairs we do our best to attend within 24 hours.
Alberta-Specific Materials
We specify products rated for Canadian climate zones. IKO and Owens Corning shingles, freeze-thaw rated mortar mixes, hot-mix asphalt for Alberta winters.
Experienced Tradespeople
Our crews are Red Seal and journeyman tradespeople who have worked the climate for years. We do not subcontract critical trade work to unknown parties.
Full Clean-Up Included
When we leave, your property looks better than when we arrived. Debris, packaging and waste removed responsibly as standard.
